Gracie Kramer is in her first season as a volunteer assistant coach for Utah State.
Kramer comes to Logan after spending the past four seasons competing in gymnastics for the UCLA Bruins, where she helped the team capture a national championship in 2018. The native of San Clemente, Calif., was also tabbed a 2019 and 2020 first-team All-American on floor, to go along with being named a two-time Pac-12 honorable mention all-academic selection and two-time all-Pac-12 honoree on floor.
As a senior in 2020, Kramer was UCLA’s top-ranked performer on floor as she was ranked No. 3 nationally. She recorded a perfect 10 on floor against Washington on Jan. 31, and averaged a team-high 9.938 on the event during the season. She placed first on floor in five meets and her last six floor routines went 9.9 or higher.
Additionally, Kramer was a staple in the Bruins’ vault lineup, competing in every meet and scoring a career-high 9.950 in the final meet of the season.
Kramer graduated from UCLA in June of 2020 with a degree in sociology. The daughter of Warren and Lorraine Kramer was named to the UCLA Athletic Director’s Honor Roll a total of 10 quarters (minimum GPA of 3.0 and 12 credits).
Born into a surfing family, Kramer learned how to surf at a very young age and enjoys going to the beach with friends and playing beach volleyball with her younger brother and father.
