1998 (JR) - A foot injury kept her from competing in all but the first two meets of the season... Earned NACGC/W Acadmeic All-American honors for the second straight year... Competed only on bars in those two meets, with her best score of 9.600 at Boise State (1/17) to open the season.

1997 (SO) -  Earned NACGC/W Acadmeic All-American honors with a 3.68 GPA in general studies... Also named to the Academic All-Big West squad... Saw most of her action on beam and floor... Had a great season on beam, scoring a career-high 9.925 at Michigan (3/15) to finish third... That score makes her the second highest scoring performer in Aggie history on the beam... Had a second place finish on the beam against Boise State/Texas Woman's (2/21) with a 9.875... Her 9.775 at the NCAA Regionals tied her for 20th nationally... Scored at least a 9.800 in six of ten performances on beam... Her season average on beam of 9.794 is a new school record... Had a season-best of 9.850 on floor twice at Texas Woman's (3/1) and vs. Southern Utah (3/10)... The Southern Utah effort was good for third place tie... Competed in vault three times with a best of 9.525 in two of the three efforts... Was on bars twice with a high score of 9.625 at Michigan (3/15).

1996 (FR) - Earned the second-best floor score in Utah State history with a 9.875 performance at Boise State (3/23)... Scored a season-high 38.775 as USU's only all-arounder at Utah (2/23)... Notched the sixth-best vault in school history twice with a 9.800 at Southern Utah (2/5) and at Boise State (3/23)... Season-best of 9.650 on bars came versus BYU (2/1)... Top 1996 score on beam of 9.750 came on three separate occassions.

CLUB/HIGH SCHOOL - Level 10 gymnast for Mark Lee, Geoff Eaton, Shelly Scherrer and Nicole Trewitt at Rocky Mountain Gymnastics in Murray, Utah, from 1986-95... Qualified for the Level 10 regionals in 1993, '94 and '95... 1995 state champion on vault, bars, beam and all-around... Placed second on beam at the 1994 Flips Invitational...Graduated from Olymus High School in Salt Lake City.

PERSONAL - Daughter of Darell and Patty Richards... Major is elementary education.
