Sarah (Landes) Jansson is in her 11th year at Utah State and currently serves as the Director of Development. She was promoted to her current role in July 2022 after serving as a Development Officer since November 2019. In her role, she works to cultivate meaningful relationships with donors focusing on major gifts for the Big Blue Club that directly impact student-athletes and departmental priorities.

Jansson joined the athletics development staff in January 2018 as the Assistant Director of Development. In this role, she coordinated fundraising and stewardship events including the Aggie Auction, Big Blue Classic Golf Tournament, and USU Athletics Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, oversaw the A-Club, and assisted in annual fund initiatives.

Prior to joining the development staff, Jansson spent two years as the Coordinator for Partnership Services with Aggie Sports Properties, where she managed the fulfillment and activation of corporate sponsorship agreements.

A two-time Utah State graduate, Jansson earned bachelor’s degrees in marketing and exercise science in 2016 and a master’s degree in physical and sport education in 2024. She was a four-year letterwinner on the Aggie gymnastics team from 2012-15.

A native of Edmond, Oklahoma, Jansson resides in Smithfield, Utah, with her husband Olli, and their dog Luka.
