LOGAN, UT - Andy Madersbacher gives the Aggies something to smile about by advancing to the third round of the Rolex Region 7 tournament

Utah State's Madersbacher easily advances to the third round by beating his both his opponents in straight sets. Madersbacher will face Leslie Eisinga of UNLV Thursday afternoon. Clayton Thomas will join Madersbacher in doubles play Thursday where they will face San Diego States team of Maiberger and Hasson.

After a first round bye Dan Baird went down fighting by losing to New Mexico's John Kowalski in three sets. The rest of the Aggies lost in the first round of play.

The Aggies doubles team of Tim Burrell, Jonah Neslon and Ben Searle and Baird all lost in the first round.
