LOGAN, Utah (AP) - Emmett White ran for a career-high 202 yards and scored three touchdowns as Utah State beat winless Arkansas State 44-31 on Saturday.
Brad Bohn kicked three field goals to help the Aggies (4-4, 3-0 Big West) to their first three-game winning streak since 1997.
White passed the 100-yard rushing mark for the third straight game. He scored twice from the 1 and had a 10-yard TD run as Utah State built a 37-10 lead in the third quarter.
The Indians (0-9, 0-3) were led by Big West receiving leader Robert Kilow, who caught 10 passes for 102 yards. Jonathan Adams scored two TDs for Arkansas State.
After Utah State extended the lead to 44-17 on John Roberts' 11-yard run, Arkansas State pulled to 44-31 on Cleo Lemon's 1-yard run and his 3-yard TD pass to Jacquis Walker with 6:22 to play.
After a fumble by Utah State's Marshall Sanders, the Indians threatened again. But Lemon fumbled into the end zone on a 1-yard run with 50 seconds remaining and Jessie Busta recovered for the Aggies.
Bohn, who became Utah State's career scoring leader last week, connected from 41, 44 and 41 yards to boost his total to 265 points.
The Aggies scored early, with Jose Fuentes throwing an 11-yard TD pass to Aaron Jones two minutes into the game. It was the first time all season Utah State has scored a first-quarter TD.
That score was set up when linebacker Blake Eagal intercepted Lemon's pass at Arkansas State's 36. The Aggies led 17-0 after a 1-yard run by White and Bohn's 41-yard field goal.
The 44 points were the most for the Aggies against a Division I opponent since a 51-48 loss at North Texas in the final game of the 1997 season.
