LOGAN, Utah -- - Utah State's men's and women's tennis teams will open their fall seasons, Friday Sept. 22, at the Weber State Pepsi Invitational in Ogden, Utah. The three-day tournament is bracketed for individual play and will feature players from Weber State, Utah State, Boise State, Northern Arizona and others.

Top returnees for the men include 2000 second-team all-Big West selection Andy Madersbacher and Ryan Burbidge, while the top returning women include Sarah Lowe and Tracy Bertagna.

Last year the men were 6-13 overall and advanced to the second round of the Big West Championships. USU's women were 8-11 after winning eight of their final 12 matches of the season.

After playing at Weber State, the Aggies will continue their fall action in tournaments at Brigham Young. The women will travel to Provo Sept. 28-30, while the men will head down south Oct. 5-7.
