LOGAN, Utah (AP) - Quarterback Darnell Arceneaux ran for 82 yards and two third-quarter touchdowns as Utah beat Utah State 35-14 on Saturday in the 100th meeting between the schools.

Adam Tate ran for 133 yards, including touchdown runs of 1, 3 and 5 yards, to help the Utes (1-4) take a 68-28-4 lead in the series that began in 1892.

Utah State (1-3) tied it at 14 two minutes into the second half on Jose Fuentes' 45-yard touchdown pass to Aaron Jones, and Fuentes' 2-point conversion pass to Casey Poppinga.

Utah countered with a nine-play drive, capped by Arceneaux's 2-yard scoring run to take a 21-14 lead.

Arceneaux, was 9-for-15 for 186 yards, scored again on a broken play just as the third quarter ended, escaping the Aggies defenders for a 17-yard run.

Safety Kimball Christiansen sealed the victory when he intercepted Fuentes' pass with 8:18 left in the game and returned it 40 yards to the Aggies' 10. Tate scored two plays later.

Fuentes finished 19-for-42 for 230 yards with three interceptions. Utah State running back Emmett White caught seven passes for 123 yards, and ran for 43 yards.
