PROVO, Utah - Jason Trask beat Israan Ismail of Boise State 6-2,6-4, in the second round of consolation play at the BYU Invitational. His win allows him to advance to the third round of the consolation bracket where he will face Utah's Jonathan Englebrecht in the semi-finals on Saturday.

Clayton Thomas of USU was defeated by Weber State's Andrei Novaceanu, 6-4, 3-6, 6-4 and was eliminated from play.
