STOCKTON, Calif. - Utah State dropped the sixth game of its last seven Friday, as the Aggies lost at Pacific, 4-0. The match marked just the third time this season an opponent has shut out Utah State. USU is now 6-9-3 on the year and 0-6-1 in the Big West Conference. Pacific's record moves to 9-5-2 overall and 1-3-2 in league play.
UOP's Regina McGee recorded a hat trick with three of the Tigers' four goals on the day, as Pacific took 20 shots, 11 on goal. McGee scored almost 25 minutes into the match, and the score remained 1-0 in favor of Pacific until nearly 15 minutes into the second half, when Gabby Olivares scored off an assist from Courtney Clarke. McGee scored her final two goals within 15 minutes of each other, with the first in the 73rd minute and the second with less than five minutes left to play.

USU's Amber Tracy took five of the Aggies' 16 shots, including four on goal. Brigid Turner shot three times, while Charlsie Harris and Heather Arnell each took two shots on goal. Goalkeeper Megan Mills allowed all four of UOP's goals, but posted six saves in the match. Pacific keeper Megan Pickering worked 88 minutes, and recorded 11 saves, 10 in the second half.
The Aggies continue looking for their first Big West win as they travel to Cal State Northridge Sunday, for a 3 p.m. match.
