LOGAN, Utah (AP) - Desmond Penigar scored 20 points and Spencer Nelson added 14 to lead Utah State to a 83-68 win against Global Sports in USU's final exhibition game of the season Friday night. Global Sports fell to 1-9 in exhibition competition.

George Banks scored 18 points, while Daniel Watts contributed 11 for Global Sports.

Nelson had a game-high nine rebounds, but Global Sports outboarded the Aggies, 34-32. Watts had seven rebounds for Global Sports, while Charles Gosa had six.

USU led throughout the entire game, and had a 22-point lead with 4:42 left in the contest. The Aggies led 41-29 at halftime, and were up by at least 13 points for the whole second half.

Both teams shot well from field goal range. Global Sports shot 46.3% (25-of-54) and USU shot 50.0% (30-of-60).
