Men's Tennis Shut Out By BYU

PROVO, Utah - Playing its 11th straight match on the road, Utah State's men's tennis team lost to BYU Friday night 7-0 in Provo. The Aggies dropped to 4-9 on the season, while BYU improved to 3-5. The Aggies next three matches will be at home starting next Thursday.

After losing all three doubles matches, the Aggies were swept in singles play by BYU, who was ranked 62 in the nation.

The Aggies last home match was against the Air Force Academy on Jan. 18. USU will return to the Sports Academy in Logan and play in-state rival Weber State on Thursday, March 7 for the second time this season. The Aggies defeated the Wildcats earlier this season at the UNLV Invitational 4-3. The match will begin at 1 p.m.
