Jonah Nelson captured the Aggies lone victory in singles play on Saturday by outlasting fellow Aggie Andy Marsh, 6-3, 6-0. Due to scheduling conflicts Nelson was unable to play his next match against Andrei Novaceanu, an independent player.

Other Aggies seeing wins today included the doubles team of Andy Marsh and Brandon Butler. In their first match of the day they defeated Sadek/Stauridis of Idaho State, 8-5. In their next match the Aggie tandem fell to Williams/Lindley of Weber State, 8-2.

"We saw some quality tennis here this weekend," said head coach Christian Wright. "We are looking forward to getting some more experience at the BYU Invitational."

Up next for the Aggies is the BYU Invitational Oct. 2-5, at Provo, Utah.
