LOGAN, Utah - Jason Trask recorded a win in both singles and doubles to lead Utah State to a 5-2 win against Montana Wednesday. With the win Utah State is now 2-0 against Montana in the last two years.

In singles play, Trask, playing in the No. 3 spot, improved his spring singles record to 6-8 when he defeated Montana's Ryan O'Neill, 4-6, 6-2, 6-3. The Aggies' were also victorious in the No. 4 through No. 6 singles spots. Brandon Butler defeated Grant Gelina in straight sets at the No. 4 position, 7-6, 6-3. Jordan Butler followed with a win against Gus Treyz in straight sets as well, 7-6, 6-2. Andrew Marsh, playing in the No. 6 singles spot, defeated Montana's Nick Tyree, 6-1, 6-7, (10-7).

In doubles action, Jonah Nelson and B. Butler, playing in the No. 1 spot, helped the Aggies get an early edge as they defeated the tandem of Steenekamp/Nevolovich, 8-6. In the No. 2 spot, Trask and B. Butler sealed the doubles point as they defeated the duo of Devlin/Treyz, 8-1. The Aggies were unable to sweep doubles as the No. 3 tandem of Schenk and Ryan Bair fell to O'Neill/Gelina, 8-6.

The Aggies' will next face Weber State in Ogden, Utah, April 9, at 2 p.m.
