Softball Drops Third Game At Pacific

STOCKTON, Calif. - Utah State softball lost the third game of its weekend series 8-0 to the University of the Pacific here Saturday. The Aggies fell to 6-28, 1-8, while Pacific improved to 28-18, 6-6.

"I think our defense was there today," said USU head coach Debbie Bilbao, "But as far as pitching and hitting, we're still inconsistent. We get chances to score, but we need to take advantage of them."

Senior Marcie Neff notched USU's lone hit of the day, going 1-2.

The Aggies play the University of Utah in Logan on Tuesday at 2 p.m.
