LOGAN, Utah - Utah State softball lost two games to Long Beach State, 14-0, 16-2, here Tuesday. The Aggies fell to 7-37, 2-15 on the season. Long Beach State improved to 25-17, 13-3.

In the second game, Utah State scored two runs as Michell Vlahos scored off a hit by Haven Vance. The second run was scored as Candice Hatch hit a sacrifice fly to centerfield and Kelly Leos scored. The two-run inning wasn't enough to catch the 49ers, and the Aggies lost 16-2.

Quela Henderson had a hit in each game, going 2-5 with a walk. Vance and Leos each picked up a hit.

The 49ers combined for 33 hits and 30 runs in two games.

The Aggies play their last home game of the season Wednesday at 11 a.m. as they face Long Beach State for the third game of the series.
