LOGAN, Utah - Ally Clegg led Utah State soccer as she scored two goals and contributed an assist as the Aggies (3-2) defeated Nevada (2-2), 4-0. Clegg's five points in the match marks the second time in her career she has reached that mark. She posted five points against Nevada when the Aggies first played them during the 2000 season.

"We definitely played to our potential today," said head coach Heather Cairns. " We came out with a lot of intensity and we were able to get things done."

Clegg had the only score of the first half as she was set up by Claire Schend and Elizabeth Masson to beat Nevada goalkeeper Megan Tarpenning. At the end of the first half the Aggies had out shot the Wolf Pack 11-2.

The Aggies kept the pressure on Tarpenning and the Nevada defense in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match the Aggies took advantage of an obstruction call that gave them an indirect kick eight feet from the Wolf Pack goal. Ally Clegg chipped the ball to Charlsie Harris who found the back of the net at 52:30. Harris' goal is her second as an Aggie and her first on the season.

Clegg scored her second goal in the 79th minute of the match. Nicole Feuz and Amber Tracy worked to find a slashing Clegg on the near side of the field.

Nicole Feuz scored USU's final goal and the first of her Aggie career as Tracy found her at 88:12. Aggie goalkeeper Megan Mills recorded the shut out as she notched three saves.

The Aggies' continue their home-stand Sunday at noon against Gonzaga.
