Final Stats

LOGAN, Utah - Utah State picked up its second straight win of the season and its first ever win against Gonzaga as the Aggies downed the Bulldogs 1-0 Sunday. With the win USU improves to 4-2 on the season as GU fell to 2-3.

Utah State sophomore Charlsie Harris scored her second goal of the season in the games 18th minute off an assist from Tiffany Jones, giving the Aggies their third shutout win of the year. Jones led Harris on a breakaway and Harris lofted the ball over a charging Gonzaga goalie.

'Charlsie played well today," said head coach Heather Cairns. "It has been great to get scoring from different people each game."

USU goalkeeper Megan Mills earned her third shutout of the season, with four saves in 90:00 minutes of play. Jones' assist was her first as an Aggie.

The Aggies end their four-game home-stand Tuesday at 4 p.m. against in-state rival Utah.
