BOISE, Idaho - Jason Trask recorded a three-set victory at number four singles, but was the only Utah State player to win a match as the Aggies lost in men's tennis at Boise State 6-1 Saturday.
Trask won the first set 6-2 before dropping a 6-3 decision in the second set. He then won the third set 6-4 to claim the victory. Trask improved his team-best spring record to 12-4, including a 6-1 mark at number four singles.
Hungsoon Park lost at number one singles, but forced two tiebreakers in falling 7-6, 7-5. He teamed with Trask in a narrow 9-7 loss at number one doubles.
The Aggies, who fell to 7-9 on the season, will play Gonzaga in Boise at 1 p.m. Sunday.
