Two Men's Basketball Players Suspended From Team

LOGAN, Utah - Utah State's head men's basketball coach Stew Morrill announced today that Jason Williams and Marques Crane have been suspended indefinitely and may be dismissed from the men's basketball team for a undisclosed violation of team rules.

Williams, a senior forward from Vallejo, Calif., started 27 of 29 games for Utah State during the 2003-04 season and averaged 6.7 points and 2.2 rebounds per game. Crane, a transfer from Saddleback Junior College in Mission Viejo, Calif., sat out last season after earning Orange Empire Conference Most Valuable Player honors as a sophomore during the 2002-03 season.
