LAS VEGAS - Utah State's men's tennis team finished in last place at the UNLV Invitational this weekend. On Sunday afternoon the Aggies lost 4-0 to Cal Poly in their last match of the tournament to take eighth place. Late Saturday Utah State lost to New Mexico State 4-2. Brad Ferguson, one of only two players with a victory at the Invitational, beat Jeff Pfeifer 6-1, 6-1 for the No. 5 spot. Hannes Schenk won at the No. 2 position 7-5, 6-3, defeating Jorge Williams. The Aggies will be in action again on Friday morning at home at the Sports Academy where they will take on Mesa State. Their match will directly follow the women's match, which begins at 9 a.m. against Mesa State.
