LOGAN, Utah - Utah State's head men's basketball coach Stew Morrill announced today that Marques Crane has been dismissed from the team for a violation of team rules and a failure to meet academic responsibilities.

Crane, a junior forward from Bellflower, Calif., averaged 4.0 points and 1.5 rebounds on the year while starting three games and playing in 12.

Utah State, 21-7 overall and 12-5 in the Big West Conference, concludes its regular season with a home game against Idaho on Fri., Mar. 4 at 7:05 p.m. in the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum.
