LOGAN, Utah - Utah State softball head coach Candi Letts has announced that one more player has signed to compete for the Aggies in the 2008-09 season. Freshman Gina Rawls will join junior college transfer Rachel Evans and freshmen Rayna Bradshaw and Jasmine Harris, who signed earlier this year. Rawls is a native of Tigard, Ore., and attends Tualatin High School.

"We are excited that Gina has decided to attend Utah State to play softball," Letts said. "She is a speed demon and has some polishing to do, but once she becomes polished, she will be an offensive weapon."

Utah State opens the 2008 season Feb. 8 at the Cathedral City Classic against UC Davis in Palm Springs, Calif.
