LOGAN, Utah - It may be spring break on the Utah State campus, but the Aggie tennis team still went to work on Monday and defeated Idaho 5-2 here Monday afternoon. The victory stopped a two-match losing steak and improved the Aggies' season record to 4-4.

USU opened the meet winning two of the three doubles matches to earn one point. The Aggies then had four players post straight set singles victories to capture the match.

Hannes Schenk posted his team-best sixth win of the year as he defeated Stanislav Glukhov at number one singles 6-4, 6-2. The Aggie senior is now 6-2 on the season.

Oscar Ericsson improved to 5-1 at number two singles and 5-3 overall with a 6-2, 6-2 win. Fernando Gallegos and Michael Banks also earned singles victories at number five and six respectively.

USU's only losses came in the middle of the lineup as Dantley Young won his opening set 6-2, but then fell 6-4, 6-4 to Timothy Huynh at number four and Jonas Tyden lost his number three match 6-4, 6-2.
