RENO, Nev. - Oscar Ericsson won his second straight match at number two singles to lead the Aggies in a 4-3 Win over Nevada, in Men's tennis action Saturday. USU improved to 6-5 on the season, while the Wolf Pack fell to 8-10.
Ericsson won his number two singles match, 6-3, 6-3, over Nevada's Guillaume Tonelli, who won nationals in 2002-03 and took second in 2003-04 while attending Tyler Junior College in Texas. Ericsson also teamed with partner Jonas Tyden to win the number one doubles point, 8-5. Mike Banks also won his number six singles match, 7-6, 7-6, and extended his winning streak to four.
The Aggies went 2-0 for the weekend, taking down Sonoma on Friday.
Utah States next action will be April 11 against Weber State in Ogden, Utah at 2 p.m.
