BOISE, Idaho -

-- The noon kickoff was USU's earliest of the year and the third noon start in the last two seasons (at Wyoming on Sept. 8 and at New Mexico State on Nov. 17 of last year).

-- Saturday's game captains were #14 senior WR Otis Nelson for the offense, #1 junior CB Kejon Murphy for the defense and #23 senior CB Caleb Taylor for the special teams.

-- Boise State's TD on its opening drive marked the second time this season that the opponent scored on its initial drive and the first since the BYU game (Oct. 3).

-- Utah State was shutout in the first quarter for the first time in the last three games but has been blanked in the opening stanza five in the last seven games and a total of seven times this season... USU has now been outscored, 89-17, in the first frame.

-- The fumble recovery for a TD in the endzone in the second quarter is the fifth non-offensive score by a USU opponent this season.

-- Junior S James Brindley's interception late in the second quarter was his second of the season, tying him for the team-lead with senior CB Roy Hurst and junior CB Kejon Murphy.

-- With nine yards on the INT return, Brindley now has 139 for his career, moving up to No. 7 on USU's career INT yardage list.

-- The 51-yard TD pass from senior QB Sean Setzer to sophomore TE Doug Barbour was Barbour's first TD catch of his career and was Setzer's third TD pass of the year and his career.

-- It was both the longest pass of Setzer's career and the longest catch of Barbour's career.

-- Utah State now has 10 different receivers with a TD catch compared to five different players last year... The 10 are the most since at least 1978.

-- USU trailed at halftime for the eighth time this season and the Aggies are now 0-8 when behind at the break.

-- The 49-yard kickoff return by Kejon Murphy to open the second half was Murphy's second-longest of the season and his career, behind a 57-yarder at Nevada on Oct. 18.

-- The 29-yard TD pass from Setzer to redshirt freshman RB Robert Turbin was Setzer's third TD pass of the year and Turbin's second TD catch, as well as Turbin's longest career reception.

-- Setzer's 226 yards passing were a new career-high and were the second-most individual passing yards this season behind sophomore QB Diondre Borel's 262 at Nevada.

-- USU's team total of 261 yards passing was the second-most of the season behind the 262 at Nevada.

-- USU had a season-high 12 different receivers catch a pass Saturday.

-- The Aggies topped the 300-yard mark of total offense for the fourth game in a row and the eighth time this season, compared to four all of last year.

-- USU's 44 yards rushing was its second-lowest this season behind the 27 yards in the Utah game on Sept. 15.

-- Boise State became the first USU opponent to have over 400 yards passing since Hawai'i threw for 465 last season.

-- The Broncos were the third Aggie opponent to top 500 yards of total offense this season, joining Oregon (688 on Sept. 6) and Nevada (523 on Oct. 18).

-- USU's six turnovers were the most since six vs. Utah on Sept.16, 2006.

-- USU is now 4-11 vs. Boise State having lost the last eight in a row... The Aggies are now 2-6 vs. the Broncos at Boise, losing in their last five trips to the Gem City.

-- The Aggies are now 15-17-2 in games in the state of Idaho.

-- USU is now 1-48 against teams in the Top 25, losing 23 in a row since a 20-19 upset of No. 25 Frenso State in 1991... The Aggies are 0-38 on the road vs. a Top 25 team.

-- Saturday marked the second time ever and the first time since 1972 that USU has played two top 10 teams in the same season.

-- It was the fourth time that USU has played a ninth-ranked team and the Aggies are 0-4 vs. No. 9

-- Saturday was also the fourth time that USU has faced a Top 25 team this season and is the first time since 2001 and the second since 1957 that the Aggies face four ranked opponents in the same year.

-- It was also the sixth time that USU has faced a fellow WAC foe that is ranked in the AP Top 25 and the third time that the Aggies have faced the Broncos when they're ranked... USU is 0-6 and 0-3, respectively.

-- USU is 3-8 on Nov. 8 since 1913, having its two-gamewin streak on the date snapped... USU is 2-5 on the road on Nov. 8.
