POCATELLO, Idaho - Utah State softball defeated Idaho State, 7-0, on Wednesday afternoon at a snowy and chilly Rainey Park in Pocatello, Idaho. Game two was cancelled as the weather worsened.

Schaible singled to start the fourth and was brought in again on a Rupp single to put the Aggies up, 4-0. Utah State tallied three more runs on three hits in the visitor half of the fifth as Stroman hit a two-out single to left, while junior designated player Kayla Dunn single to third and Tyteca walked. Schaible knocked a single into right center to score Stroman and Dunn and junior second baseman Jeanine Hernandez finished the rally by knocking in Tyteca on a single to round out the Aggie scoring.
