HONOLULU -

-- Sophomore DE Levi Koskan made his first career start.

-- Senior CB Kejon Murphy snared his second interception of the season and fourth of his career.

-- USU's defense held the opposition without a first down on its opening possession for the sixth time this season, doing so in five of the last seven games.

-- Utah State scored on its opening possession for the second game in a row after a streak of three games without doing so... Overall, it was the Aggies' sixth game this season in getting on the scoreboard on their opening drive.

-- USU scored first for the seventh time this season and the Aggies are now 1-6 when hanging a point on the scoreboard first.

-- Saturday was sophomore RB Robert Turbin's third-straight game and sixth contest this season with at least rushing TD and the 12th career game.

-- It was Turbin's first multi-TD outing this season and the second of his career, both coming on the road, with his career-best three at LA Tech last season (Nov. 15)... Turbin now has six rushing TD's on the season.

-- Turbin's six rushing TD's on the season give him 14 career rushing TD's, moving into a tie with Jack Hill (1956) for No. 8 on USU's career rushing list.

-- Junior QB Diondre Borel's consecutive streak of passes without an interception was snapped at 228, the longest active streak in the country entering Saturday and the third longest this season... Borel's only other INT this season was in the season-opener vs. Utah on Sept. 3.

-- USU has scored in the first quarter in seven of its nine games... UH's 14 points in the first quarter was the fourth time this season that USU's opponent has scored 14 points in the opening stanza and USU has now been out-scored 73-69 in the opening quarter.

-- The Aggies trailed at the half for the fourth time this season and USU is now 0-4.

-- The 35 points scored by Hawai'i in the first half is the most scored by a USU opponent in a half this season and the most since Oregon's 38 points on Sept. 6, 2008.

-- Senior TE Jeremy Mitchell caught his first TD of the season and the second of his career... It was also the first TD caught by a tight end this season, and the first since current junior DE Jerome Barbour, then a TE, had a TD catch vs. Boise State last season (Nov. 8), a span of 10 games.

-- Borel has at least one TD pass in eight-straight games this season and Saturday was his third multi TD-pass this season and seventh of his career.

-- Sophomore S Walter McClenton snared his first career INT with his third-quarter pick.

-- McClenton's 27-yard INT return is the longest INT return this season for USU's defense.

-- USU's 14 points in the third quarter is a season-high for the Aggies' scoring in the third stanza this season and the most since 14 vs. Idaho last season (Sept. 20).

-- Junior RB Michael Smith scored his second receiving TD of the season and first since the Southern Utah game (Sept. 26).

-- Borel scored his sixth rushing TD of the season and 11th of his career.

-- Saturday was Borel's second-straight game with a rushing and throwing TD in the same game... It was the fifth time this season and seventh time in his career.

-- Borel's 344 yards is his second-best of the season and his career behind 353 vs. Nevada (Oct. 17).

-- USU is now:
-- 2-7 overall and 1-4 in WAC
-- Even at 5-5 all-time vs. Hawai'i
-- 2-4 at Hawai'i, losing its fourth in a row
