UTAH STATE POSTGAME NOTES VS. SAN JOSE STATE

TEAM NOTES
* Utah State has now won 34 straight home games, extending its school record. It is also the second-longest home winning streak in the nation behind Kansas (41). USU has now gone undefeated at home in back-to-back seasons for the first time in school history winning 17 home games each year which is the most home wins in a single-season in school history.

* Utah State trails Memphis (28-3) and Pittsburgh (28-3), and is tied with Connecticut (27-3) and Oklahoma (27-4) for the third-most wins in the nation this year.

* Utah State's 27 wins this year are the third-most in school history trailing only the 2000 and 2001 teams that each won 28 games, and the most regular season wins in school history.

* Utah State's 14 league wins are tied for the third-most in school history.

* Utah State is now 159-12 in the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum under Coach Morrill, which includes an 84-8 record against conference opponents and a 29-3 record against WAC teams.

* Utah State has now won 16 straight WAC games at home and 25 of its last 26 overall.

* Utah State is now 4-0 this year and 52-16 over the last 10 years following a loss.

* Utah State is now 21-0 on the season and 203-21 over the last 10 years when leading at the half.

* Utah State shot over 50 percent from the field for the 18th time this year.

* Utah State recorded 20-plus assists for the eighth time this year.

* Utah State's five turnovers are tied for its second-fewest this year (4 vs. San Jose State).

* Utah State's 11 made three-pointers are tied for the second-most this year (12 vs. New Mexico State), while its 23 three-point attempts are the second-most this year (25 vs. Idaho State).

* Utah State had all five of its starters score in double-figures for the third time this year. The other two times were against Weber State and New Mexico State at home.

* Three of Utah State's last four opponents have shot at least 50 percent from the field after San Jose State shot a season-high 52.7 percent tonight.

* The 50 points scored by San Jose State in the second-half is the most given up by USU in any half this year and the most since New Mexico State had 52 first-half points against USU last year.

PLAYER NOTES
* Gary Wilkinson scored in double-figures for the 27th time this year and 55th time in his career.

* Gary Wilkinson has now scored 525 points this year, which ranks 37th all-time at Utah State for a single-season. He also has 992 career points and is just eight points shy of becoming the 33rd player in school history to score 1,000 points.

* Tyler Newbold scored in double-figures for the 14th time this year and 20th time in his career.

* Tai Wesley scored in double-figures for the 23rd time this year and 41st time in his career.

* Jared Quayle scored in double-figures for the 22nd time this year and had 20-plus points for the fifth time this season.

* Pooh Williams scored a career-high 17 points and tied his career-high with six assists. It is the fifth time this year and sixth time in his career he has scored in double-figures.
