-- The 15 stops is the third-highest in the WAC this season, behind his conference-best 17, while two players have 16.

START STREAKING STATS

-- Senior QB Diondre Borel made his team-leading 27th-consecutive start and his 27th career start... Borel is just one of four QB's in the country to have all of their career starts in consecutive order with more than 25 games, currently fourth (Adam Weber-Minnesota 43/43; Trevor Vittatoe-UTEP 41/41; Jerrod Johnson-Texas A&M 28/28; Borel 27/27).

-- Junior LB Bobby Wagner made his 21st-straight start, ranking second on the team, and it was his 26th career start.

-- Freshman DE Jason Fanaika made his first career start, the second straight game that an Aggie freshman has started for the first time (D.J. Tialavea vs. BYU).

QUARTER QUICKS

-- USU was held scoreless in the first quarter for the second time in three games and the third time this season (Oklahoma, San Diego State and LA Tech), all three on the road.

-- Caldwell's two field goals Saturday is USU's first multi-FG this season and the first since Chris Ulinski split the upright twice at Fresno State on Oct. 31, 2009.

-- It is Caldwell's first multi-FG game since Hawai'i on Nov. 1, 2008, and the seventh of his career (once this season, twice in 2008 and four times in 2007).

BLOCKED KICK

-- Senior DT Nathan Royster's fourth quarter field goal block is the second this season for the USU defense, marking the third straight season with multiple field goal blocks (three each in 2009 and 2008).
