TIP OFF - Utah State women's basketball (13-11, 7-4 WAC) travel to Idaho (13-11, 6-6 WAC) Saturday, Feb. 14 at 3 p.m. The Aggies handed Idaho their last WAC loss (70-64) on Thursday, Feb. 20. Both Idaho and Utah State will have played one opponent before meeting again Saturday. USU fell to Fresno State (81-63) on Feb. 12 and Idaho lost to Nevada (69-63) on Thursday, Feb. 17.

THE OPPONENT - Idaho's (13-11, 6-6 WAC) most recent game was in Logan when USU defeated the Vandals, 70-64. The Vandals will take on Nevada Thursday, Feb. 17 before the Aggies travel to Moscow, Idaho for Saturday's 3 p.m. tip off. UI has three players averaging double-digits including Yinka Olorunnife averaging a double-double with 14.5 points per game and 10.1 rebounds pergame. Rachele Kloke adds 12.4 ppg, while Derisa Taleni contributes 10.1 ppg.

LAST TIME OUT - Utah State women's basketball had two players in double-digits including sophomore Devyn Christensen with 18 points and Ashlee Brown with 22 points and battled in a tough second-half but lost, 81-63, loss at Fresno State on Feb. 13. Brown's 22 points led all scores. Fresno State had four players in double digits led by Taja Edwards and Rosei Moult both adding 19 points. Sophomore Jenna Johnson added eight points and three assists. Senior Alice Coddington added seven points along side four rebounds and two seals. Coddington's two steals tie her for the school record for total career steals with assistant coach Danyelle Snellgro at 214.

CLOSE CALLS - Utah State and Idaho have a track record for close games. In the 2008-09 season, they played two overtime games and in the last three years there have been three OT decisions. Last season when the Aggies traveled to Moscow the Aggies won by two points and when the Vandals came to Logan, Vandals pulled off a one-point win. Last time in Moscow, senior TaHara William sunk a jumper with one second left to give USU the 57-55 win. This season, USU had already captured a 70-64 win over the Vandals in Logan.

STEALING A SCHOOL RECORD - Alice Coddington is closing in on two Utah State records. She is one steal away from breaking the school record of 216 career steals held by current Aggie assistant coach Danyelle Snelgro (2005-09). Coddington is also third in USU history for most assists with 303 currently, also behind Snelgro in second with 336 and Taylor Richards (2005-08) 371.

WAC WINS - The Aggies have seven WAC wins so far this season which is two away from tying the 2008-09 team that had a 9-7 record. The nine wins in 2008-09 is the most for Utah State since joining the WAC in 2005-06

WAC WINING STREAK - The fifth-straight WAC win for the Aggies against Boise State (84-69) is their longest-conference win streak since the 1975-76 season when USU finished 10-3 in Intermountain Athletic Conference action. It is the first time since the 2004-05 season that USU has been three games over .500 in WAC action.

D FOR DEFENSE - USU's defense forced 20 Hawai'i turnovers on Jan. 27 and forced 23 turnovers in the following win against San Jose State, Jan. 29, which is the 10th time this season USU has caused 20 or more miscues. The Aggies also forced 25 turnovers in their 84-69 win at Boise State and 28 turnovers in the 70-64 win over Idaho Feb. 10.

WINGING DOWN - Utah State has only five regular-season games remaining, including two against the seventh (San Jose State) and ninth placed (Hawai'i) teams. Last year the Aggies were 4-7 at this point, this season USU is 7-4.

PERFECT UNDER 59 - The Aggies are 6-0 when holding the opponent to 59 points or less.

THREE-POINTERS TO WIN - USU is 11-0 when shooting better than its opponents from behind the arc. On the season, the Aggies are 81-of-274 (.296) from three-point range, which is seventh in the WAC. The Aggies defeated Nevada, 79-73 on Feb. 3, shooting 4-of-14 (28.6 percent) from behind the arc, while the Wolf Pack shot 7-of-23 (30.4 percent) and also defeated Idaho (70-64) on Feb. 10 shooting 33.3. (6-of-18) and while Idaho shot (56.3 (9-of-16) from three-point range which are the only USU wins when the opponent shot better from three-point range.

RECORD-SETTING DAY - The Aggies set a school record shooting 60.8 percent from the field against Utah Valley on Dec. 1 in USU's 80-66 win over the Wolverines. The previous record was 58.3 percent against New Mexico State in 1982.

BLOCK PARTY - The Aggies set a new school record with 14 blocks in a 69-57 win against Boise State (Jan. 6). The Aggies' 14 blocks topped their school record of 11 set twice last year vs. North Dakota State and San Jose State.

BROWN DOUBLE-TROUBLE - Junior Ashlee Brown nabbed her eighth double-doubles this season setting a modern-era record for more double-doubles in one season knocking off Ali (Aird) Marchant who nabbed second in 2003-04. Brown has eight 20+ point games including a career-high 26 points at Northern Arizona (Dec. 4).

PEBLEY'S 80TH WIN - In her eighth year at the helm of the Aggies, head coach Raegan Pebley notched her 80th win as the Aggies defeated Hawai'i, 54-41 on Jan. 27. Pebley is the winningest coach (84) above Cindy Perkins (51) on the all-time win list.

NEXT UP - Following Idaho, USU will return home for its final two home games of the season hosing New Mexico State on Thursday, Feb. 24 at 7 p.m. followed by Louisiana Tech Saturday, Feb. 26 at 3 p.m. which will also be a double header with the men's team and senior day for Coddington, Howard, Pringle-Buchanan and White.

CLOSING IN ON HISTORY - Sophomore Banna Diop is already in third-place for career blocked shots with 80. Leading the list is Nicole Johnson (2007-10) with 133 blocks during her career.

FRIENDLY CONFINES - USU is 5-1 in WAC action in the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum and 7-5 overall on the season. The Aggies are 302-of-769 (39.3 percent) from the field at home and 65.8 percent (185-of-284) from the free-throw line. Utah State has 133 steals in the Spectrum compared to 107 by its opponents.

BATTLE OF THE BOARDS - Seven times this year, Utah State has out-rebounded its opponent and is 5-2 when winning the battle of the boards, taking the rebound advantage against Utah Valley, 27-24, while holding a 46-41 edge against Northern Arizona and against San Francisco the Aggies nabbed 41 to the Dons' 31 boards. The Aggies also out-rebounded South Dakota State 42-37. In a loss to Idaho State, USU out-rebounded the Bengals, 38-32 and fell to the Lady Techsters with one more rebound. On Feb. 3, Nevada led the WAC in rebounding with a 7.2 rebounding margin, the Aggies battled and won the battle of the boards, 40-36 and earned a 79-73 win in Reno, Nev.

AROUND THE COURT AGGIES IN THE WAC - Senior guard Alice Coddington is second in assists (4.46 apg) and second in the WAC in steals (2.63 spg) behind NMSU's Jasmine Lowe with 2.79, while junior forward Ashlee Brown is fourth in the league in rebounding, averaging 8.8 rpg and fourth in scoring with 15.4 ppg. Christensen is second in the WAC in free-throw percentage at 86.4 and Diop leads the conference in blocked shots averaging 1.79 bpg. As a team, USU is second in steals at 11.29 spg game.

DIOP ON THE BLOCK - Sophomore center Banna Diop joined the career blocks list as she has 79 blocks as an Aggie thus far landing her third in school history. Diop tied the school record of eight blocks in a single game against Boise State (Jan. 7) in Logan.

HOME SWEET HOME - Freshman guard Jennifer Schlott looked right at home playing in her home state of Arizona against Northern Arizona on Dec. 4. She upped her career high from two points to a stunning 13 in the Aggies 80-75 overtime win against the Lumberjacks. Playing in front of her family the freshman led the Aggies at the point adding three steals and rebounds to her final total in only 15 minutes of action.

Junior forward Ashlee Brown, who is also a native of the Grand Canyon State, also played well in front of family. The forward topped her career-high with 26 points against the Lumberjacks in the come-from-behind win. She also added 10 rebounds for her second double-double of the season. She now has nine double-doubles this season.

OTHER AGGIE TIDBITS - • After coming off the bench for the first two games, while recovering from illness, junior forward Ashlee Brown made her first career start against Montana on Nov. 20.

• While Ashlee Brown was sick, senior forward Stacey Howard made her first career start against Dixie State and also started against North Dakota State.

• Sophomore Devyn Christensen had her first-career start on Jan. 29 against San Jose State at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum. In her first start she led the Aggies to a 72-57 win with a team-high 18 points. In Christensen's second start, on Thursday, Feb. 3 at Nevada she again led the team to a win, 79-73, with her first-career double-double including 18 points and career-high 11 boards.

• The Aggies are an international team with players from three different countries, including Australia (Stacey Howard, Alice Coddington and Maddy Plunkett), Senegal (Banna Diop) and 11 players from United States, none of whom are from the state of Utah.

• ROAD WARRIORS - Last year the Aggies were 5-7 on the road overall and this season USU is already 5-5, and one win away from passing a last year's road win total. The Aggies travel to Fresno State, Saturday, Feb. 12. COACH PEBLEY - Head coach Raegan Pebley is in her eighth season as head coach at Utah State, which is the longest tenure in the program's history. Five games into 2007-08 season, Pebley overtook the lead for the most games coached in Utah State history (119). She has now coached 223 games for the blue and white. Pebley now has 84 wins as Aggie head coach which places her above Cindy Perkins (51) on the all-time win list. NEWCOMERS - The Aggies add five newcomers this year from all around the country. Junior transfer Reyneisha Mays joins the squad from Moorpark College (Granada Hills, Calif.) Junior Maddy Plunkett is a transfer from College of Southern Idaho, following in the footsteps of team mate senior LaCale Pringle-Buchanan. The three freshman joining the Aggies this year include Kamie Imai ( Waiakea HS) comes to USU from Pahoa, Hawaii. Jennifer Schlott from Mesa, Ariz. (Mountain View HS) and Stephanie Larson from Tustin, Calif. (Foothill HS).
