Utah State also made its first-ever trip to the Women's National Invitation Tournament, defeating Arizona 103-95 in the first round. The 103 points was the most points scored by the Aggies since a 96-39 win against Southern Idaho in 1984. The Aggies then fell in the second round of BYU, 102-63.
BUILDING ON SUCCESS - The Aggies are a young team and will return four starters including their top three scorers in Ashlee Brown, Devyn Christensen and Banna Diop. Utah State will say goodbye to seniors, Alice Coddington, LaCale Pringle-Buchanan, Stacey Howard and Amber White.
PLAYING TIME - USU had five players see time in all 33 games and eight players play in 30+ games. Sophomores Banna Diop and Jenna Johnson both return as the only two players who started in all 33 games. Coddington was the third player who started in each game this season.
GOING THE DISTANCE - The 33 games this season is also the most games in a season for the Aggies ever. USU's 18 wins this season is a school record for wins in a season beating out the 1973 team who had 17 wins.

Senior forward Amber White was named to the all-WAC second-team in 2010, while Ana Pares was earned second-team honors in 2009.
ALL-DEFENSIVE TEAM - For the second-straight year Coddington was named to the all-defensive team. Coddington led the Aggies in steals with 83 this season and is second in the WAC averaging 2.50 steals per game behind all-WAC first-team honoree Jaleesa Ross who averages 2.70.
COACH OF THE YEAR - This season was the first time in head coach Raegan Pebley's career that she has earned the Coach of the Year accolade. Pebley is also the first female to earn the award since 2004-05 when Rice's Cristy McKinney was named Coach of the Year.
UTAH STATE VS. TEAMS IN THE POSTSEASON - The Aggies played seven teams that competed in postseason action. Utah, Fresno State, Montana, South Dakota State and Louisiana Tech took part in the NCAA Tournament. BYU and Nevada participated in the WNIT. USU highlighted the list with wins over South Dakota State and a conference sweep over Nevada.
POSTSEASON UNDER PEBLEY - Utah State has competed in a conference tournament every season under head coach Raegan Pebley and has a 3-6 record in those appearances. This year's WNIT run is the first postseason non-conference tournament action for USU under Pebley.
DOUBLE COACH OF THE YEAR - It is the first time since the reinstatement in 2003-04 of women's basketball at USU that both men's and women's coaches were named Coach of the Year when Raegan Pebley and Stew Morrill earned the honor. The last time in WAC history that the same school had both Coaches of the Year was in 1990-00 when Tulsa's Bill Self and Kathy McConnell-Miller were both named WAC Coach of the Year. In 1998-99, Utah's Rick Majerus and Elaine Elliott both earned the honor in the Pacific Division of the WAC.
