LOGAN, Utah - After a brief two-game home stand, the Utah State women's basketball team will hit the road for its final two road games of the regular season, beginning with Nevada on Thursday, Feb. 15 at 8 p.m. (MT).

Utah State is 16-7 overall and 7-2 in Western Athletic Conference action. Last week, the Aggies split games with a win against New Mexico State and a loss to Louisiana Tech. Utah State is nearing new territory as the Aggies have 16 overall wins and seven WAC wins. Last season, USU set the record for wins in a season when Utah State went 18-15. The Aggies are only two wins away from tying that record.

Nevada (5-18, 1-7 WAC) has an even 8-8 record in 16 overall meetings with Utah State. The Wolf Pack hold a slight 8-6 record since USU joined the WAC. This is the final regular-season meeting between the two teams with Nevada joining the Mountain West Conference next season. The Aggies have won the last three meetings between the team, including a 91-69 win in Logan on Jan. 21. Last season was the first time that the Aggies had swept the Wolf Pack in a season.

Nevada has lost five-straight games with its last win coming at Idaho on Jan. 23, 76-70. Kayla Williams did not play in the first meeting between the two teams but is back in the lineup now. She is second on the team in scoring, averaging 12.4 points per game just behind leading scorer Kate Kevorken who scores 15.8 ppg.

Junior Devyn Christensen is second conference in scoring in WAC games, averaging 19.1 points. She is just behind San Jose State's Brittany Johnson who scores 20.8 ppg in league games. Her teammate Ashlee Brown is ninth in scoring in WAC games, averaging 13.6 ppg. Christensen is first free throw percentage (89.7 percent), third in field goal percentage (53.4 percent) and fourth in three point field goal percentage (42.3 percent).

All Utah State games can be heard on KLGN (1390 AM) in Logan with Craig Hislop taking the reigns this season. They can also be heard on the web by going to the Utah State Athletics home page at www.UtahStateAggies.com and clink on the "Listen Live" link in the right hand column.
