Utah State Football Returns to National Spotlight Friday at San Jose State

LOGAN, Utah - Utah State football returns to the national spotlight in its return to California to take on San Jose State on Friday, Sept. 27 with a 7 p.m. (MT) kickoff on ESPN.

The game is one of just two Division I games being played Friday and the only one to be aired on ESPN. Carter Blackburn will be on play-by-play with Danny Kanell as the analyst and Allison Williams on the sidelines.

Fans can listen to USU Football in Salt Lake City on KZNS 1280 AM, in Vernal on KVEL 920 AM, and in Price on KRPX 95.3 FM. Every affiliate station will carry the one-hour pregame and postgame show in addition to the 50-minute weekly coaches show.

Additionally, Cache Valley/Tremonton fans can listen to the Aggie Sports Network on KVNU 102.1 FM and KLZX 95.9 FM, while Southeastern Idaho fans can listen via a KLZX translator on 105.3 FM in Montpelier, Idaho.

Along with its affiliates to the Aggie Radio Network, fans can continue to tune into all audio broadcasts free of charge via the Internet at www.UtahStateAggies.com and click on the "Listen Live" link.

The Aggies (2-2, 1-0 MW) return to Mountain West action, while it is the league opener for the Spartans (1-2, 0-0 MW). In the last meeting between the two schools in 2012, Utah State came out ahead 49-27 in San Jose. The team had a school-record 13 sacks on SJSU quarterback David Fales.
