• Utah State men's basketball will begin its 111th season when the Aggies host Oklahoma Panhandle State on Saturday, Oct. 31 in the first of two exhibition games. USU is 1,536-1,059 (.592) in 2,595 games played over that span.
• Utah State has won 15 exhibition games in a row with its last exhibition loss coming on Oct. 11, 2007 to EA Sports, 86-81. The Aggies posted victories in both exhibition games last season, 77-70 over Texas A&M International and 64-57 over Arkansas-Fort Smith.
• Utah State opens its exhibition games against a member of the Heartland Conference for the second consecutive year. Both exhibition opponents from last season, Texas A&M International and Arkansas-Fort Smith, are members of the Heartland Conference.
• Utah State will enter its third season in the Mountain West, compiling an 11-7 conference mark last season in the Aggie' sophomore campaign. The 11 wins were the most ever for a second-year school in the Mountain West.
• Utah State ended the 2014-15 season in the top-20 nationally in five statistics: eighth in both defensive 3-point field goal percentage (.297) and fewest turnovers (323), 14th in 3-point field goal percentage (.394), 17th in assist/turnover ratio (1.38) and 18th in turnovers per game (10.4).
• Sophomore forward David Collette is the second-most efficient returning post player in the NCAA, shooting 59.1 percent last year. Collette is only behind Gonzaga's Domantas Sabonis who shot 66.8 percent from the floor last season.
• Utah State returns all five starters from a team that finished 18-13 overall and 11-7 in the Mountain West last season. Among the returners are all three of the Aggies' postseason honorees, including junior wing Jalen Moore (second team), sophomore forward David Collette (third team) and senior guard Chris Smith (honorable mention).

Oklahoma Panhandle State was founded in 1909, in Goodwell, Okla., offering secondary agricultural education. The University offers close to 100 undergraduate degrees and has a student population of 1,400. The Aggies compete in the Heartland Conference, an NCAA Division II conference.

Non-returning letterwinners
Utah State had four letterwinners not return for the 2015-16 season in forward Konner Frey, forward Sean Harris, guard JoJo McGlaston and guard Sam Orchard. Harris was the lone senior on the team in 2014-15, appearing in 31 games during the year and averaging 2.0 points and 2.4 rebounds per game. McGlaston started the first seven games of the 2014-15 campaign before becoming the first off the bench. On the year, McGlaston averaged 5.6 points and 3.0 rebounds per game. Frey and Orchard combined to appear in 13 games, averaging less than five minutes per game.
3-Point Record Book Barrage
Utah State's 233 3-point field goals and 591 3-point field goal attempts in 2014-15 are both among the most in school history, ranking second and first on the all-time record books at USU.
Super Sophomore
Jalen Moore finished in some elite company among USU history as he led the team in scoring with 15.2 points per game in 2014-15. Moore joined All-Americans Cornell Green (20.4 ppg), Wayne Estes (28.3 ppg), Marvin Roberts (22.4), three-time all-Big West honoree Greg Grant (17.4 ppg), two-time all-Big West honoree Kendall Youngblood (18.8 ppg) and first-team all-WAC honoree Preston Medlin (17.0) who each led the team in scoring as a sophomore.
Moore's 470 points are the most by a sophomore since All-American Jaycee Carroll scored 521 during his sophomore campaign in 2005-06.
