LOGAN, Utah - Utah State Athletics has announced some game day information for fans in preparation of Saturday’s Mountain West contest against Nevada on Merlin Olsen Field at Maverik Stadium.
The Aggies enter the game with a 5-5 overall record and 4-3 mark in the Mountain Division of the Mountain West following a 35-28 loss at Air Force last weekend. The Wolf Pack are 6-4 and 4-2 in the West Division following a 37-34 win in overtime against San José State last Saturday in Reno, Nev. Gates at Maverik Stadium will open at noon with kickoff slated for 1:30 p.m.
The football game, which is the Aggies’ final Mountain West game of the season, is part of a tripleheader day of action for Utah State. The women’s basketball team will host Pacific at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum at 6 p.m., while volleyball will cap the day’s events with a match against Air Force at the Wayne Estes Center at 8:30 p.m.
Tickets for the Utah State-Nevada game can still be purchased at the USU Ticket Office at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum on Friday from 10 a.m. through the men’s basketball game against Union, or by calling 1-888-USTATE-1 or (435) 797-0305. Tickets will also be available at the gate on Saturday, with the Maverik Stadium South ticket office opening at 11 a.m. and the North ticket offices opening at 11 a.m. Fans can also purchase their tickets online at http://www.utahstateaggies.com/tickets/ust-tickets.html.
Saturday’s game against Nevada is Military Appreciation Day and features the Seats for Soldiers program. Fans interested in donating tickets or requesting tickets for veterans can contact Zack Hewlett at 435-797-0348.
Utah State Athletics will host the Maceys Fan Fest prior to the game. The Fan Fest begins at 11 a.m., and is located west of Maverik Stadium on 800 East. The Fender Benders, presented by Edge Rock & Moto Clothing, will provide live music.
Other tailgate activities include inflatable toys and carnival games, food trucks presented by Bone House BBQ and special appearances from the Utah State track & field, golf and soccer teams, as well as former Aggie standout Tyler Newbold.
Fans are encouraged to get to their seats early as there will be a pre-game skydiving show and helicopter flyover, presented by Mountain Ridge Helicopters. At the conclusion of the game, fans are also encouraged to stick around for the fifth quarter, which will feature Air-Bound Gymnastics.
Fans holding a ticket for the football game will be admitted to Utah State’s women’s basketball game against Pacific for $1 on Saturday at 6 p.m., at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum.
In addition, fans holding a ticket for the football game will be admitted to Utah State’s volleyball match against Air Force for $1 on Saturday at 8:30 p.m., at the Wayne Estes Center.
Road Closures
Beginning at 7:30 a.m., 800 East will be closed until 6 p.m. In addition, 1000 North will be closed from 11:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

• The parking lot located directly east of Maverik Stadium is open to Blue Permit holders.
• In-venue restrooms are located at the following locations: Upper concourse on the east side; south concourse; above Section 8 in the northwest corner of the stadium.
• The closest parking lots for the general public/non-Blue Permit holders are located on the corners of 1400 North and 800 East, or 1200 East and 1100 North.
