Post-Game Notes vs. Boise State (10/1/16)

TEAM NOTES
* Utah State is now 5-54 all-time against Associated Press ranked teams, including a 3-4 record under head coach Matt Wells. USU is also 1-8 all-time against Boise State when the Broncos have been nationally ranked.
* Utah State is 0-2 in conference play for the first time since losing its first two WAC games in 2011.
* Utah State has now lost back-to-back games for the fifth time in its last five seasons, a span of 66 games.
* Utah State is now 12-5 under Wells following a loss.
* Utah State has now lost eight-straight games at Boise State and is 5-16 all-time against the Broncos, including a 2-9 road record.
* Utah State is now18-8 all-time in Mountain West play, including a 7-6 road record.
* Utah State has now forced six turnovers this year (four interceptions, two fumbles) and 105 turnovers in its last 55 games, including at least one turnover in 45 of its last 55 games with its second quarter fumble recovery.
* Utah State's 12 penalties for 90 yards are both season-highs.
* Tonight's captains were senior DE Ricky Ali'ifua (95), senior NG Travis Seefeldt, senior OG Jake Simonich (76) and junior DE Ian Togiai (19).
* Aggies who played in their first career game tonight include freshman TE Derek Hastings (85).

OFFENSIVE PLAYER NOTES
* Junior QB Kent Myers (2) threw his fourth touchdown pass of the season of the 25th of his career on a 30-yard touchdown pass. Myers also posted his third 200-yard passing game of the season and the seventh of his career with 287 passing yards. Overall, Myers was 29-of-50 passing, both of which are career-highs.
* Junior QB Kent Myers had a season-long 45 yard run and now has a team-best five rushes of at least 20 yards this season.
* Senior WR Andrew Rodriguez (82) caught his first touchdown pass of the season and the second of his career on a 30-yard reception. He finished with a career-best 89 receiving yards.
* Senior TE Wyatt Houston (83) has now caught at least one pass in 11 straight games, which is the longest active streak on the team.
* Freshman WR Rayshad Lewis (9) had a career-high seven receptions for a career-best 82 yards. He also had a long reception of 38 yards, giving him a team-best five receptions of at least 20 yards this season.
* Junior WR Braelon Roberts (88) had a career-high 35 receiving yards.
* Redshirt freshman WR Gerold Bright (25) recovered his first career fumble on a punt return.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER NOTES
* Junior CB Jalen Davis (13) had one pass breakup and now has four pass breakups this year and 18 in his career. Davis also had 1.0 tackles for loss, giving him 4.0 tackles for loss this year and 11.0 in his career.
* Senior LB Anthony Williams (16) had 1.0 tackles for loss, giving him 3.0 tackles for loss this year and 3.5 in his career.
* Sophomore FS Jontrell Rocquemore (27) recorded his first career sack and now has 1.0 tackles for loss this year and 3.0 in his career.
* Senior CB Danile Gray (7) tied his career-high with six tackles and had his third pass breakup of the season and the ninth of his career.
* Senior FS Devin Centers (37) had 1.0 tackles for loss, giving him 3.0 tackles for loss this year and 9.5 in his career.

SPECIAL TEAM PLAYER NOTES
* Sophomore P Aaron Dalton (89) had a career-high-tying three punts of 50-plus yards (50, 51, 50) and now has four punts this year and 13 in his career of at least 50 yards. He also had three punts of 50-plus yards at Air Force last season. Dalton also had three punts downed inside the 20-yard line, giving him nine punts this year and 36 in his career downed inside the 20-yard line.
* Senior PK Brock Warren (63) was 1-of-2 on field goal attempts in the first half as he was good from 28 yards and missed from 32 yards. He had made five-straight field goals prior to his 32-yard miss on the last play of the first half. Warren is now 6-of-8 this year and 14-of-20 in his career on field goals, including 3-of-3 this season and 7-of-9 in his career from 20-29 yards, and 3-of-5 this year and 5-of-7 in his career from 30-39 yards.
