Utah State Football Announces Game Day Activities for Friday

LOGAN, Utah - Utah State Athletics has announced some game day information for fans in preparation for the Aggies’ Friday night tilt against Mountain West rival San Diego State on Merlin Olsen Field at Maverik Stadium.

The Aggies, fresh off a 38-20 victory over Fresno State, enter the game with a 3-4 overall record and 1-3 mark in the Mountain West. The Aztecs, who beat San José State 42-3 last Friday, are 6-1 overall and 3-0 in league play. Gates at Maverik Stadium will open at 4 p.m., with kickoff slated for 6 p.m.

Friday’s game, which is being presented by ICON Health & Fitness, will be televised live on CBS Sports Network (Comcast Ch. 269/753HD, Dish Network Ch .158, DirecTV Ch. 221).

Tickets for Friday’s game can still be purchased at the USU Ticket Office inside the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum during regular business hours, or by calling 1-888-USTATE-1 or (435) 797-0305. Fans can also buy their tickets online by clicking on the “Buy Tickets” tab at www.UtahStateAggies.com. Tickets will also be available at the gate, with the Maverik Stadium south and north ticket offices opening at 2 p.m. and 3 p.m., respectively, on Friday.

Prior to the Aggies and Aztecs kicking off, Utah State Athletics will host a Halloween-themed Maceys Fan Fest from 3:30-5:30 p.m. on 800 East just west of Maverik Stadium. Fans, especially children, are encouraged to dress up and tailgate with other Aggies as activities will include trick-or-treating, live music being provided by a DJ, inflatable toys, games, giveaways and special appearances from the Utah State gymnastics, golf and women’s tennis teams.

Every Utah State football game can be heard live on the Aggie Radio Network. Al Lewis serves as the play-by-play announcer, while Craig Hislop will provide color commentary. KVNU 610 AM in Cache Valley will continue to serve as the flagship station for Aggie football. Fans can also listen to the games in Salt Lake City on KZNS 1280 AM, in Vernal on KVEL 920 AM and in Price on KRPX 95.3 FM. Every affiliate station will carry the one-hour pregame and post-game show.

Additionally, Cache Valley/Tremonton fans can listen to the Aggie Sports Network on KVNU 102.1 FM and KLZX 95.9 FM, while fans in Montpelier, Idaho, can listen via a KLZX translator on 105.3 FM.

Along with its affiliates to the Aggie Radio Network, fans can continue to tune into all audio broadcasts free of charge via the Internet at www.UtahStateAggies.com and clicking on the “Listen Live” link.

More Game Day Info.
• Baby strollers are still prohibited inside Maverik Stadium. However, complimentary stroller parking will be provided north of the ticket office just outside of the gates on the south concourse. Fans can park their strollers at their own risks and are encouraged to not leave any valuables. Utah State is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
• The entrances to the main Maverik Stadium parking lot on 800 East are only open to premium reserved, “A” and “C” pass-holders.
• Parking lot “B” is located across the street from the stadium to the south and can be accessed via 800 East or 900 North.
• Parking lot “D” is directly east of the stadium and can be accessed via 1000 North or 1200 East.
• For E pass-holders, there are several parking options, which include the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum/Wayne Estes Center lot, the lot just west of Chuck and Gloria Bell Soccer Field and the lot just south of Logan City Cemetery.
• ADA parking is available in both the “A” and “B” lots.
• For additional parking available and traffic guidelines, fans can check the parking map on the Utah State Athletics website.
