"Julion Pearre did a great job. He is a bright kid and we keep him in the last skeleton group in practice, just so he can get some reps so in an emergency he can play that position. But he has not played a minute of point guard all year long. I thought he did a tremendous job."

On the play of his reserves at the post
"Ngor Barnaba and Quinn Taylor in the first half were a huge reason why we were tied at the half. They picked up some slack and had 16 points between them. Playing together with Julion, Diogo (Brito) and Sam (Merrill) and just getting it done. I thought that group did a good job, got some turnovers and some defensive stops and did a good job of playing together offensively."

"We were not as deep today because of injuries and foul trouble. There was a stretch there that we weren't getting back in transition and we weren't able to stay in front of the ball. The coaches told us that we had to have our defensive stops to win here and we didn't do that tonight."
