TAKE FRONTRUNNER AND UVX: If you plan on attending Friday night's game in Provo, heavy traffic on I-15 could double commute times. On top of that, finding a parking spot could be a hassle. With that in mind, why not consider taking FrontRunner from Ogden to Provo? FrontRunner will run on its normal Friday night schedule and will have a train departing after the game that will service all stations between Provo and Ogden. Trains will depart every hour from Provo Central station on the :47. Once in Provo, free UVX buses will be on hand to get you to and from the game. Use the UVX BYU Stadium station (southeast of LaVell Edwards Stadium) to get to the game and return to FrontRunner. The UVX BYU Stadium station toward Provo Central station is on the south side of University Parkway (near the baseball field), while the UVX BYU Stadium station toward Orem Central is on the north side of University Parkway. WAGON WHEEL SUPREMACY: Utah State and BYU will be playing for possession of The Old Wagon Wheel, which is the traveling trophy between the two schools. The Old Wagon Wheel became part of the rivalry in 1948. Since its inception, BYU holds a 40-24 advantage in the series, but USU currently holds possession of the traveling trophy after its 40-24 home win last year.
MOVING FORWARD: Future games currently scheduled between Utah State and BYU include meetings in Logan on Nov. 2, 2019, and on Oct. 1, 2021. Future matchups in Provo include Oct. 2, 2020, and Sept. 30, 2022.
