Utah State will wrap up its 2018 campaign this week, closing on the road at Boise State on Tuesday, Nov. 13, at 7:30 p.m., followed the season finale at Air Force on Saturday, Nov. 17, at 1 p.m.

Scouting the Broncos
Boise State is currently 17-10 on the year, including a 9-7 mark in the Mountain West, having won three of its last four and six of its last eight, including a 3-2 win over the Aggies on Oct. 16.

The Broncos are hitting .209 (1,293-550-3,562) on the year and led individually by senior outside Sabryn Roberts with 378 kills, averaging 3.71 per set (third in the MW). Junior Cassedi Simon and freshman Danielle Boss have shared the setting duties, averaging 7.69 and 7.78 assists per set, respectively.

Boise State's strength in on the block, where the Broncos rank second in the Mountain West with 2.69 blocks per set. Freshman middle Jessica Donahue and senior middle Morgan Hughes lead the BSU block, averaging 1.39 and 1.18 blocks per set to rank No. 2 and No. 6 in the Mountain West, respectively. Freshman libero Jessie Brigham leads the Boise State back row with 3.19 digs per set, totaling 325 on the year. Opponents are hitting .179 (1,211-585-3,501) against the Broncos this season, which ranks third in the Mountain West.

Head coach Shawn Garus is in his 10th season at the helm in Boise, leading the Broncos to an overall mark of 177-131 during his tenure.

Scouting the Falcon
Air Force is currently 14-15 overall, including 4-11 in the Mountain West, and is slated to host Boise State on Thursday night. The Falcons have lost eight of their last nine matches, including a 3-1 defeat against Utah State in Logan on Oct. 18.

AFA is hitting .202 (1,482-658-4,083) on the year and led individually by senior outside Abigail Miksch with 3.22 kills per set, followed closely by senior outside Elizabeth Pennington with 3.13 per set. Senior Shanleigh Conlan and sophomore Andi Ahlers have shared the setting duties this season, totaling 613 and 563 assists and averaging 5.33 and 5.21 assists per set, respectively. Air Force is one of the best serve-receive teams in the Mountain West and rank second in opponents' service aces per set, allowing just 1.09 per frame.

Defensively, Air Force ranks third in the MW with 14.91 digs per set and is led on the back row by junior Denise Ssozi with 297 digs, averaging 2.61 per set. Ssozi is one of five Falcons with more than 200 digs this season. Sophomore middle Kathleen Medill leads the AFA block, totaling 107 this season and averaging 0.92 per set. Opponents are hitting .185 (1,368-625-4,007) against the Falcons this season.

Head coach Marc Swindle is in his third season as the head coach at Air Force after serving as an assistant with the program the previous six seasons.

Service Ace Streak
Utah State has recorded at least one service ace in each of the last 86 matches, dating back to the 2016 season.

All DuBose with Air Force
Utah State and Air Force have met 10 times with the Aggies holding a 8-2 advantage over the Falcons. USU head coach Grayson DuBose has led the Aggies in every match in the series.

Rising in the Record Book
Johnson eclipsed 2,000 career assists in the match against San Diego State on Oct. 6, and moved to No. 7 on the all-time assists list in Utah State history.
