Sunday will be just the second meeting in history between Utah State and Minnesota. The Aggies and Gophers played in Minneapolis last season, a 5-0 victory for Minnesota.

Utah State enters Sunday's match with an 0-1 record, having dropped its season opener at Sam Houston State, 2-0. Ashley Cardozo is the top offensive returner for the Aggies, as she netted nine goals and added six assists in 2017.
