LOGAN, Utah – Utah State soccer (1-6-0) is set to open Mountain West play at home as it hosts UNLV (6-2-1) on Friday, Sept. 21, at 4 p.m.

All regular-season home and Mountain West matches will continue to be broadcast as a USU Athletics Production on the Mountain West Network. All video feeds will be available live and in archive form at utahstateaggies.com/watch. Live stats and play-by-play information will be available through SIDEARM, while updates will also be provided through the team's social media outlets. Links to each option will be available online prior to every match.

UNLV opens the weekend with a 6-2-1 overall record. The Rebels closed non-conference play in a 1-0 loss at UC Riverside. Senior forward Caitlyn Kreutz leads UNLV with five goals on the season. Three Rebels have recorded three assists each, while another four players have two apiece. Freshman Emberly Sevilla has played all but 10 minutes of the season in the net, tallying 44 saves and giving up seven goals. 

Chris Shaw is in his fifth season as the head coach at UNLV. He has an all-time record of 55-31-8, becoming the winningest head coach in program history with his last victory. All-time, Utah State is 3-9-0 against UNLV. Last season, the Aggies snapped a four-match losing streak against the Rebels with a 2-1 double-overtime win in Logan.

For the Aggies, freshman forward Sara Noel leads the team with four goals on the season, while sophomore midfielder Ashley Cardozo has two assists. Senior goalkeeper Grace McGuire has played the majority of time in the net, tallying 20 saves and allowing 11 goals.
