LOGAN, Utah – Utah State will open the home portion of its 2018 schedule when the Aggies welcome New Mexico State to Maverik Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 8, at 6 p.m. These two teams also met in the 2017 Nova Home Loans Arizona Bowl.
USU enters the game with an overall mark of 0-1 after opening the season last weekend with a 38-31 loss at No. 11 Michigan State. NMSU is 0-2 following a 48-10 loss at Minnesota last weekend. Gates at Maverik Stadium will open at 4 p.m. with kickoff slated for 6:06 p.m.

MACEYS FAN FEST: Prior to the Aggies and Aggies kicking off, Utah State Athletics will host the Maceys Fan Fest from 3:30-5:30 p.m. on 800 East just west of Maverik Stadium. Fans are invited to tailgate with other Aggies as activities will include live music, inflatable toys, games, giveaways and special appearances from the Utah State women's basketball, women's tennis and softball teams.

GOING FAST: Utah State's up-tempo offense was very productive in its first game of the season at No. 11 Michigan State. On its first drive of the game, USU went 75 yards in seven plays and took just 2:02 off the clock. Of those seven plays, five were up-tempo with USU snapping the ball on average just 11.5 seconds into the 40-second play clock.
