LOGAN, Utah – Four Utah State softball players have been named Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes, as announced by the NFCA Wednesday.

Kennedy Hira, Mia Maher, Leah Molina and Kapri Toone are among a record 8,161 student-athletes recognized for their success in the classroom in the 2018-19 academic year. To be recognized, student-athletes must have a grade point average of 3.5 or better over the two semesters. The award recognizes student-athletes across all three NCAA divisions, NAIA and high schools levels.

A May, 2019 graduate, Maher earned the award for the fourth time, making her the second USU player to be recognized each year of her career. This is the second recognition for Hira and Molina, and the first for Toone.
