SEVENTH HEAVEN: With a victory at New Mexico, Utah State will win at least seven games for the sixth time in the past nine years and for the 26th time in school history. The Aggies would also finish Mountain West play with a 6-2 record, marking the fourth time in their seven years in the league that they have won at least six conference games.

GIVE HIM THE ROCK: Senior running back Gerold Bright is 62 yards shy of becoming just the 10th player in school history to rush for 2,000 yards in a career. The native of Pensacola, Fla., has rushed for 1,938 yards and 20 touchdowns on 323 carries (5.0 ypc) to rank ninth all-time in school history in both rushing average and touchdowns. He also ranks 10th all-time in total touchdowns with 26 and 11th all-time in rushing.

RECORD WATCH: Junior quarterback Jordan Love has racked up 8,472 yards of total offense (8,111 yards passing, 361 yards rushing) during his Utah State career and needs just 337 yards of total offense to set the school record. The current mark of 8,808 yards is held by former quarterback Chuckie Keeton (2011-15). Furthermore, Love has passed for 2,913 yards this season and needs 87 more through the air to become just the second signal caller in school history to have a pair of 3,000-yard passing seasons, joining Jose Fuentes (1999-2002). As a sophomore in 2018, Love set the single-season school record for passing yards in a season with 3,567.

FROM THE ARCHIVES: The Aggies did not allow the Lobos to complete a single pass in 1954. The zero passing yards and no completions are tied for single-game school records… Utah State set a then-school record with 704 yards of total offense against New Mexico last season. That total is now the second-most in school history… Jordan Love's 448 yards passing against New Mexico in 2018 are the fifth-most in school history and the second-most in his career.

THROUGH THE UPRIGHTS: Utah State has made 172 consecutive extra points to rank as the second-longest active streak in the nation, trailing only Georgia (281). The last time the Aggies missed an extra point was against San Diego State on Oct. 28, 2016.

HOMEGROWN: Utah State has 38 players in its program from the Beehive State, while New Mexico has 17 players on its roster from the Land of Enchantment.
