LOGAN, Utah – Utah State softball (15-28, 4-16 MW) will play its final road game of the season as it travels to take on in-state rival BYU (26-22, 10-2 WCC) on Tuesday, May 7, at 6 p.m.
The game will be streamed online on BYUtv Digital, while live stats will also be provided. Links to each option will be posted on the USU softball social media accounts prior to the game.
BYU opens the week with a 26-22 record, but will host Colorado State on Monday night. As a team, BYU is batting .279 (349-of-1,249), led by junior outfielder Rylee Jensen, who is hitting .404 (61-of-151). Four pitchers have seen time in the circle for BYU, posting a combined ERA of 3.08. Sophomore Autumn Moffat leads the group with a 2.59 ERA and an 11-10 individual record.
Gordon Eakin is in his 17th season as the head coach at BYU, where he has an overall record of 667-314. Utah State's fourth-most faced opponent, BYU leads the all-time series, 43-33. The Aggies and Cougars split the home-and-home series last year, with each team winning its road contest.

Lexi Orozco leads the team at the plate, batting .352 (43-of-122), including 13 home runs and eight doubles. As a team, USU is batting .278 (314-of-1,130). In the circle, sophomore
Delaney Hull leads the pitching staff with a 5.57 ERA in 23 starts, while the three pitchers together have allowed 348 hits and 219 earned runs with a combined 5.85 ERA.
