LOGAN, Utah – Utah State's golf team continues its fall schedule this week at the Colorado State-hosted Ram Masters Invitational in Fort Collins, Colo.
The 54-hole tournament, which will be played at the par-70, 7,218-yard Fort Collins Country Club, gets underway Monday, Sept. 16, at 8 a.m. The tournament consists of two rounds each on Monday and a final round Tuesday.
Seventeen teams are slated to compete in this year's tournament: Air Force, Cal Poly, Cal State Fullerton, Colorado State, Creighton, Denver, Fresno State, Grand Canyon, Houston Baptist, Northern Colorado, Pacific, South Dakota, Utah State, Utah Valley, UTEP, Wichita State and Wyoming, along with individuals from Colorado.

Colten Cordingley (Rexburg, Idaho) and
Andy Hess (Idaho Falls, Idaho), sophomore
Cameron Tucker (Ogden, Utah) and freshman
Gabe Hunter (Knoxville, Tenn.).
Utah State began its fall season last weekend with a 54-hole score of 9-over 875 (292-286-297) to place 10th at the Air Force-hosted Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational. Hess was USU's top golfer as he tied for 20th place with an even-par 216 (70-71-75). Cordingley (74-70-73) and Lansford (72-69-76) finished at 1-over 217 and tied for 27th, while Tucker tied for 63rd with a 10-over 226 (76-77-73) and senior
Hayden Eckert tied for 86th at 16-over 232 (78-76-78).
Hess finished the 2018-19 season with a stroke average of 73.61 over 23 rounds, while Lansford had a stroke average of 74.22 over 23 rounds. Cordingley had a stroke average of 74.78 over 23 rounds, Eckert had a stroke average of 75.13 over 23 rounds and Tucker had a stroke average of 75.41 over 17 rounds.
