Box Score RENO, Nev. - Utah State women's basketball (5-12, 0-6 Mountain West) lost, 69-60, to Nevada (8-8, 1-4 MW) on Saturday inside the Lawlor Events Center in Reno, Nev.
The Aggies were led by sophomore guard
Steph Gorman with 17 points, senior forward
Marlene Aniambossou with 14 and senior forward
Hailey Bassett with 12.
The Wolf Pack was led by freshman forward Dom Phillips with 17 points.
USU shot 48.1 percent (25-of-52) from the field, 45.5 percent (5-of-11) from behind the arc and 71.4 percent (5-of-7) at the free throw line. Nevada shot 47.5 percent (28-of-59) from the floor, 30.8 percent (4-of-13) from behind the 3-point line and 56.3 percent (9-of-16) at the free throw line.
Utah State next hosts Boise State (12-6, 4-2 MW) on Saturday, Jan. 18, at 2 p.m., inside the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum.
