LOGAN, Utah - Utah State women's basketball (5-11, 0-5 Mountain West) lost, 62-45, to Air Force (4-11, 2-2 MW) on Wednesday night inside the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum.
The Aggies were led by senior forward
Hailey Bassett with 20 points. Bassett's performance marked her third straight 20-point outing.
The Falcons were led by sophomore forward Riley Snyder and sophomore guard Briana Autrey-Thompson with 15 points each.
USU shot 32.7 percent (17-of-52) from the field, 14.3 percent (2-of-14) from behind the arc and 64.3 percent (9-of-14) at the free throw line. Air Force shot 46.9 percent (23-of-49) from the floor, 31.3 percent (5-of-16) from behind the 3-point line and 100.0 percent (11-of-11) at the free throw line.
Utah State will next take on Nevada (7-8, 0-4 MW) in a road contest on Saturday, Jan. 11, at 2 p.m. (MT).
