LOGAN, Utah – Utah State men's tennis (2-6) is prepped for a home doubleheader on Friday, Feb. 28, as the Aggies host Northern Arizona (4-6) and Weber State (6-5). Matches will be played at the Sports Academy & Racquet Club, starting at 10 a.m.

Northern Arizona comes to Logan on a three-match losing streak with a 4-6 overall record. Junior Eban Straker-Meads is leading the Lumberjacks with a 5-3 record in singles play, playing primarily in the No. 1 position. In doubles, freshman Joachim Schaefer and sophomore Daniel Dillon have a team-best 4-5 record. Maciej Bogusz is in his second season as the head coach at NAU. The Lumberjacks lead the all-time series against the Aggies, 10-8, but this will be the first meeting between the two teams since 2015.
Weber State enters Friday's match with a 6-5 record. Junior Arthur Serafim has a team-best 7-2 record in singles action, playing primarily in the No. 2 spot. The Wildcats have rotated through several doubles pairs throughout the season, where four different duos have posted records of 2-1. Brad Ferreira is in his eighth season as the head coach at Weber State. The series between the Aggies and Wildcats is close. Weber State leads, 31-30, but Utah State has won the last five matches.
Utah State goes into the doubleheader with a 2-6 record, coming off a 4-3 win over Louisiana on Monday. Senior
